Headline Sets at St Mary’s Church

Performing headline sets in St Mary’s Church will be Welsh electro-pop superstar Gwenno, virtuosic harp & fiddle duo, Catrin Finch & Aoife Ni Bhriain, Australian - Welsh indie sensation Stella Donnelly, pioneering Welsh drill artist Sage Todz, South London neo-soul act Poppy Ajudha, Canadian alt-popstar mauvey and Llareggub Brass Band who’ll fill the Church with the sounds of New Orleans marching bands, Hip Hop & Welsh language pop music.

All of these headline sets will take place live & online, streaming worldwide and hosted by the brilliant Huw Stephens, with more names coming soon!

Music Trail

This year sees the return of the Other Voices Cardigan Music Trail which will take place in multiple venues around Cardigan, with over 80 events across three days in intimate and atmospheric spaces around the town. UNDER 18's

Wristbands for under 18s are free*, but will need to be obtained via the Mwldan box office (boxoffice@mwldan.co.uk / 01239 621 200 / 12-8pm daily, closed Mondays), proof of age may be required. Please note you will need to refer to the individual Music Trail venues for their policy on young people and entry into licensed premises. Not all events will be suitable for very young people, and there may be loud music and strong language at times, parental discretion is advised.

Clebran Sessions

Other Voices Cardigan & Ireland's Edge present: Clebran: Connected Imagination, a weekend long programme of compelling and provocative discussions which celebrate the enduring cultural and musical ties between Ireland and Wales.

Taking place as from 3 - 5 November as part of the Other Voices Cardigan celebrations, Clebran: Connected Imagination will feature a series of carefully assembled discussions and performances with artists, journalists, creatives and politicians; sparking enriching, lively conversations about how we perceive our world, language and culture.

Livestreaming

All St Mary's Church performances will be streamed to the cinema screen at Mwldan across the weekend as well as to the world via Other Voices YouTube and socials (entry to the streamed screenings via wristband on a first come first served basis). Full streaming details coming very soon.

We’re so excited to add two amazing new headline acts for next week’s Other Voices Cardigan!

Performing live online from St Mary’s Church will be Canadian alt-pop artist & creative visionary mauvey and South-London neo-soul queen Poppy Ajudha who’ll be playing tracks from her breathtaking debut LP ‘The Power In Us’!

These incredible artists complete our amazing St Mary's Church line up alongside Mercury Prize Nominee Gwenno, Celtic pioneers Catrin Finch & Aoife Ní Bhriain, Welsh drill artist Sage Todz, indie-pop superstar Stella Donnelly and the brilliant Band Pres Llareggub!

Hosted by Huw Stephens all the incredible headline Church will be streaming live worldwide via the Other Voices YouTube on 4 & 5 November

Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin TD said:

“Other Voices Cardigan again promises a wonderful programme of live music which will enable outstanding performances to be enjoyed around the world. It is especially heartening to see audiences and artists coming together again in person. I am very proud that my Department is supporting the programme again this year and strengthening further the cultural ties between Ireland and Wales.” 

The Consult General of Ireland in Wales, Denise McQuade said:

“We are delighted that Other Voices is returning to Cardigan this year. Ireland and Wales share rich cultural ties which stretch back many centuries. Other Voices provides an opportunity to build those ties and to highlight and share the best of contemporary Irish and Welsh culture.”


Other Voices Cardigan is staged with the support and investment of Welsh Government and The Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and is produced by South Wind Blows in partnership with Mwldan and Triongl. The event will be filmed by Triongl for later broadcast on S4C and RTÉ.

Mae Lleisiau Eraill Aberteifi ac Ireland's Edge yn cyflwyno: Clebran: Dychymyg Cysylltiedig, rhaglen penwythnos o hyd o drafodaethau cymhellol a phryfoclyd sy'n dathlu'r cysylltiadau diwylliannol a cherddorol parhaus rhwng Iwerddon a Chymru.

Yn digwydd rhwng 3 a 5 Tachwedd fel rhan o ddathliadau Lleisiau Eraill Aberteifi, bydd Clebran: Dychymyg Cysylltiedig yn cynnwys cyfres o drafodaethau a pherfformiadau wedi’u cydosod yn ofalus gydag artistiaid, newyddiadurwyr, unigolion creadigol a gwleidyddion; yn sbarduno sgyrsiau bywiog a chyfoethog am sut rydym yn canfod ein byd, ein hiaith a’n diwylliant.

Bydd y digwyddiadau hyn yn cychwyn yr ŵyl bob dydd ar ddechrau’r prynhawn dros y tridiau.

Eglwys y Santes Fair

Yn perfformio prif setiau yn Eglwys y Santes Fair fydd y seren electro-pop o Gymru Gwenno, y ddeuawd telyn a ffidil feistrolgar, Catrin Finch ac Aoife Ni Bhriain, y perfformwraig indi syfrdanol Awstralaidd-Cymreig Stella Donnelly, yr artist dril arloesol o Gymru Sage Todz a Band Pres Llareggub a fydd yn llenwi'r Eglwys gyda seiniau bandiau gorymdeithio New Orleans, Hip Hop a cherddoriaeth bop Gymraeg.

Bydd yr holl brif setiau hyn yn digwydd yn fyw ac ar-lein, ac yn cael eu ffrydio’n fyd-eang gyda mwy o enwau yn dod yn fuan!

Y Llwybr CerddBydd Llwybr Cerdd Lleisiau Eraill Aberteifi yn dychwelyd eleni. Cynhelir digwyddiadau’r llwybr mewn nifer o leoliadau o gwmpas Aberteifi, gyda dros 80 o ddigwyddiadau dros dridiau mewn gofodau cartrefol, llawn awyrgylch o amgylch y dref. Cynhelir y perfformiadau hyn o 3 - 5 Tachwedd.

Ffrydio Byw

Bydd yr holl berfformiadau yn yr Eglwys yn cael eu ffrydio i sgrin y sinema yn y Mwldan ar hyd y penwythnos, yn ogystal ag i’r byd trwy YouTube a chyfryngau cymdeithasol Other Voices (ceir mynediad i'r dangosiadau wedi'u ffrydio trwy fand arddwrn ar sail y cyntaf i'r felin). Bydd manylion llawn am y ffrydio yn dod yn fuan iawn.

Tocynnau


Ni fydd tocynnau aur ar gyfer perfformiadau yn yr Eglwys ar werth ond gellir eu hennill trwy gystadlaethau a gyhoeddir yn ystod y misoedd nesaf.

Mae band arddwrn penwythnos yn galluogi aelodau'r gynulleidfa i gael mynediad i'r Ŵyl dros dridiau, gan gynnwys y Llwybr Cerdd, digwyddiadau Clebran a chael eu cynnwys yn y raffl i ennill tocynnau mynediad aur y mae galw mawr amdanynt i'r perfformiadau byw yn Eglwys y Santes Fair, ynghyd â gwobrau eraill. Pris cynnar bandiau arddwrn yw £20, gan godi i £25 ar 13eg Hydref.

Llwyfannir Lleisiau Eraill Aberteifi gyda chefnogaeth a buddsoddiad Llywodraeth Cymru a’r Adran Twristiaeth, Diwylliant, Celfyddydau, Gaeltacht, Chwaraeon a Chyfryngau, ac fe'i cynhyrchir gan South Wind Blows mewn partneriaeth â’r Mwldan a Triongl. Bydd y digwyddiad yn cael ei ffilmio gan Triongl i'w ddarlledu nes ymlaen ar S4C ac RTÉ.
