Red Telephone
Hailing from Cardiff, Red Telephone’s richly layered neo-psych rock could have emanated from the clubs of Blade Runner’s dystopian LA. Combining shimmering, angular guitars, Krautrock-inspired rhythms and New Wave-tinged synths with an infectious and melodic melancholy, the band has caught the attention of DJs such as Steve Lamacq, Amy Lame, Huw Stephens, Charlie Ashcroft, Gideon Coe and Bethan Elfyn, with comparisons to the likes of MGMT and Berlin-era Bowie being drawn.
