And he's from Dun Laoghaire. So am I. So was Wilfred Brambell. Not a lot of people know that.... Villagers on the main stage in the Church of Saint James. You don't need to be a soothsayer to know that this band is one to watch. Conor appeared on 'Later With Jools' recently and pretty much stole the show. Get used to that would be our advice...

Dingle natives, Walking On Cars, made their Other Voices debut in the IMRO Other Room in December 2012.. and we're sure we haven't seen the last of them.

After offering to shave our presenter Aidan with a cut throat razor in the very splendid Baldy Barbers (there was none available) Mr. Yorkston took to the stage in the Glassworks armed with a guitar and a fiddle player and delivered a searing acoustic set. Our very own slumbering Scotsman. Brilliant.

The first posting on the channel was a song we didn't use on the actual TV show - so to round things out we thought we'd give you a taste of the wonderful Megafaun being just, well, Megafuan. If you think this is good you should check out the album....

She just bloody rocks, bloody marvelous!

Damien Dempsey bustin' out all over the audience in the Glassworks during the Derry-Londonderry leg of Other Voices 11.

They did a blindingly brilliant acoustic version of this while they were in Dingle, up in the old Christian Brother's School as it happens, and that's the version we used in the programme. Later on in the church they plugged in and did again...et voila!

They love her in France too, you know....

I suppose this almost qualifies as a track from the vault. The very splendid Delorentos performing 'Basis of Everything' from their debut album 'In Love With Detail'. Their second album, 'You Can Make Sound' is out now. You know what you need to do.
