I suppose this almost qualifies as a track from the vault. The very splendid Delorentos performing 'Basis of Everything' from their debut album 'In Love With Detail'. Their second album, 'You Can Make Sound' is out now. You know what you need to do.

They did a blindingly brilliant acoustic version of this while they were in Dingle, up in the old Christian Brother's School as it happens, and that's the version we used in the programme. Later on in the church they plugged in and did again...et voila!

After offering to shave our presenter Aidan with a cut throat razor in the very splendid Baldy Barbers (there was none available) Mr. Yorkston took to the stage in the Glassworks armed with a guitar and a fiddle player and delivered a searing acoustic set. Dingle natives, Walking On Cars, made their Other Voices debut in the IMRO Other Room in December 2012.. and we're sure we haven't seen the last of them.

Ladies and Gentlemen, allow us to present the Mercury Music Prize Nominated - Villagers - and further, we would ask that you all take a moment to remember just where you saw them first. And he's from Dun Laoghaire. So am I. So was Wilfred Brambell. Not a lot of people know that.... Villagers on the main stage in the Church of Saint James. You don't need to be a soothsayer to know that this band is one to watch. Conor appeared on 'Later With Jools' recently and pretty much stole the show. Get used to that would be our advice...

The one and only Seasick Steve came to Dingle for Series 6 of Other Voices and he sang about hobos and chiggers and told us about his three string Trans-Wonder - it was made in Japan you know - in no time flat he blew us all away.
