Our Coast Our Voices:

Our Coasts Our Voices is a collaborative, creative educational project between Clean Coasts and Other Voices, which uses music, spoken word and interactive workshops to explore our waterways, coastline, ocean and marine life.

Get involved:

Join us for a beach clean at Ventry Beach on Saturday, 27th November, at 11 am. All beach clean kits are provided.

About Clean Coasts:

Clean Coasts is a charity programme that works with communities to help protect and care for Ireland’s waterways, coastline, seas, ocean and marine life. Clean Coasts thrives to create tangible and immediate improvements to Ireland’s coastal environment, involving thousands of volunteers removing large quantities of marine litter from our coastline each year.  

Currently, there are nearly 2,000 registered Clean Coasts volunteering groups, including community groups, residents’ associations, tidy towns groups, sports clubs, schools, businesses, universities etc.

The programme is run through the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce, and sponsored by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and Failte Ireland.
