Other Voices Day to Day line up

Other Voices Day to Day line up

November 25, 2013

We thought it was time to let you all in on the day to day line up for Other Voices Dingle 2013. The 12th and 13th names to join the Other Voices line up are David Arnold and Rosie Carney.

David Arnold is an English film composer best known for scoring five James Bond films, Tomorrow never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. He will be joining us in the Church for a very special, original and unique performance from his own solo catalogue.

Last but certainly not least is Rosie Carney. The sixteen year old songstress has been compared to Adele and has been stirring up the Irish music scene in the last year. Jim Carroll has championed her 'striking voice' and 'really sweet folky-po tunes', adding her to the 'ones to watch for 2014'.

Dingle will host the hugely popular Other Voices Music Trail, with a brilliant line-up of shows in venues around the town including Come On Live Long, Maud In Cahoots, Slow Skies, Bouts, Hermitage Green, Leanne Harte, Little Bear and many more. All Other Voices Music Trail events are free and will take place before and after the Church happenings.

Each year, Other Voices provides a TV and online platform for new and emerging acts in the IMRO Other Room. Hundreds of applications for a performance slot have been coming in over the last week and the Viewer’s Choice shortlist will be announced and put to the public vote tonight at 9pm on www.rte.ie/othervoices
