
Joining Jazz Summers, Paul Duane and Lloyd Bradley in Jim Carroll’s Banter Salon will be Conor Masterson, the director of In the Deep Shade, acclaimed documentary on Irish Musicians, The Frames.
Also added to the Banter lineup is LegacyDerry - a panel conversation about the city's tenure as UK City of Culture in 2013 and its medium to long-term effects for the city's cultural scene. The panel consists of film-maker Margo Harkin, film-maker and director of education at the Nerve Centre, John Peto and Mark Nagurski, creator of CultureTECH.
The Banter Salon will take up residence in The Craft Village from 2pm on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of February.
Annie Mac will also join Jim for a special pre-gig Banter conversation about music, radio and DJing, which will be held at the Nerve Centre on Thursday 6th at 8pm. Tickets to Annie's gig with Ryan Vail, Dollface and Deep Fried Funk DJs can be purchased here for £8.80.
