Frequently Asked Questions ahead of #OV2023!

Please note that there are nine unique strands of this year’s Other Voices, including The Church, IMRO Other Room, Ireland’s Edge, Dingle Distillery Music Trail, Dingle Unplugged, Banter, Cogar, Powers Golden Hours and Dumbworld Presents. 

Some are ticketed individually and some are free to attend with your Dingle Distillery Music Trail wristband. Please read on for all the details on what your wristband will give you access to.

Can I get into Dingle Distillery Music Trail shows with the Eventbrite ticket on my phone?

No. You will need to collect a wristband from the Other Voices Hub before you can enter any Dingle Distillery Music Trail venues. Wristbands are essential for attending any shows on the  Dingle Distillery Music Trail.

How do I collect my Dingle Distillery Music Trail Wristband? 

You can collect this at the Other Voices Hub which is located on Spa Road in front of the Lidl. It's the same place as last year for anyone who was with us then. The Hub will be open at the following times. 

Thursday 30 Nov // 5 - 7pm

Friday 1 Dec // 2 - 10pm

Saturday 2 Dec //  12 - 9pm

Sunday 3 Dec // 12 - 4pm

It will be not feasible to collect your tickets outside of these times. Please email ticketing@othervoices.ie if you have any other queries on this. 

Can I collect everyone in my group's wristbands?

No, each ticketholder in the group must come to the Other Voices Hub themselves to have their wristband put on their wrist by our team. This is due to a number of reasons but it is to ensure safety around capacities at our shows. 

What do I need to have ready to collect my wristband?

Please have the QR code open and ready to scan on your phone when entering the Other Voices Hub to speed up the process. Please be aware that there may be queues when you come to collect your ticket, particularly on the Friday evening. We will work as fast as we can but please be patient with our team. If at all possible please don’t leave collecting your ticket to the last half hour of the Hub opening times.

Does this wristband guarantee me access to all Dingle Distillery Music Trail shows?

Please be aware that many of the Dingle Distillery Music Trail venues are intimate. This is part of the magic of Other Voices. Access to each venue will be on a first come, first served basis with queues expected for most gigs and venues. There are over 100 shows taking place this weekend, with most acts will be playing more than once so there'll be more chances to catch them. We advise going early to catch the acts you want to see.

Does this wristband get me into the Church shows?

No, this wristband is for the Dingle Distillery Music Trail only. Tickets for St James Church are never for sale. Check out our socials for a chance to win St. James' Church tickets.

Does this wristband get me into the Church shows?

No, this wristband is for the Dingle Distillery Music Trail only. The IMRO Other Room performances are prerecord and broadcast as part of the livestream. However all four acts performing in the IMRO Other Room will also be playing on the Dingle Distillery Music Trail

Does this wristband get me into Powers Golden Hours?

No, this wristband is for the Dingle Distillery Music Trail only. Powers Golden Hours is now sold out. 

Does this wristband get me into Ireland’s Edge?

No, this wristband is for the Dingle Distillery Music Trail only. See Eventbrite for the latest ticketing info for Ireland’s Edge.

Does this wristband get me into Banter, Cogar, Dingle Unplugged, Dumbworld Presents?

Yes, you can access all of these strands with your Dingle Distillery Music Trail wristband.

Where can I buy Other Voices merch?

You can buy merch at the Hub during the following hours

Friday 1 Dec // 2pm - 8pm

Saturday 2 Dec // 12pm - 6pm

Sunday 3 Dec // 12pm - 4pm
