Tower Records - Record Store Day

This Saturday our buddies at Tower Dublin are celebrating the opening of their brand spanking new siopa on Dawson Street. It being Record Store Day, from 8am they’ll have releases in their Dawson St and Eason’s O’Connell St. stores from Other Voices faithfuls John Grant, Villagers and more.

Upstairs in TR Dawson St. - the little music shop that just keeps giving - will be Lisa Hannigan, Little Matador, SOAK and other special guests.

Got the munchies? They’re setting up stalls downstairs to cater for just that eventuality… more jam buns and swiss roll than you’d get from your own granny.

You’ll have a good big goo on you by the time you’ve perused all there is to offer so head on down to the Garage Bar - Dublin on Essex St East with a Tower bag or receipt for a 4 quid pint of Heineken.

Then go home because you wouldn’t want to do yourself a mischief!

…or you could pop in to the Light House Cinema for a screening of Empire Records at 10:30pm. Fancy dress in 90s gear from 9pm if you’re so inclined.
