Press Release: Two Door Cinema Club Unable to Perform at OV Derry

Two Door Cinema Club have this morning advised that, due to illness, the band will not be able to take part at Other Voices in Derry / Londonderry tomorrow night (Sunday February 10th).

Band Statement:

To all our fans, Other Voices festival and the people of Derry/Londonderry

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you that we will not be able to appear at the Other Voices festival in Derry/Londonderry tomorrow Sunday 10th of February as originally scheduled.

Alex our lead singer has acute laryngitis and cannot speak let alone sing.

He was struggling already last night towards the end of the London Brixton Academy show, and pushing his voice hard to get through it resulted in him completely losing his voice this morning.

We are sorry for all the fans and all the people that worked hard in making this show happen.

We were all very much looking forward to performing at Other Voices, but unfortunately it is completely out of our control.

We hope to be back very soon.

Other Voices are hugely disappointed that the band are unable to perform and wish Alex a speedy recovery.
