
Other Voices is delighted to officially announce its return to Dingle in December 2015. Between Friday 4th – Sunday 6th of December over seventy musical acts of all genres will play free gigs in a multitude of venues around the beautiful town of Dingle, stunningly situated on the Wild Atlantic Way.
The filming of the fourteenth series of Other Voices, which will air on RTÉ2 next year, will happen as always in St. James’ Church. It can now be revealed that the first five acts will be:
Richard Hawley
Richard returns to Other Voices for the first time since 2011, and will perform songs from Hollow Meadows his recently released album
Lapsley
Singer-songwriter Lapsley, is one of the most exciting artists to emerge in recent times on the British electronic scene. In 2015 she signed to XL recordings and has enjoyed a significant amount of airplay and support from BBC Radio 1. Her debut album will be released in 2016.
Gaz Coombes
Recently Mercury Prize-nominated for his album Matador, Gaz Coombes (lead singer with Supergrass) will play Other Voices for the first time.
Gavin James
Fresh from a US tour with Sam Smith, singer-songwriter Gavin James will be releasing his highly anticipated debut album on November 20th ahead of his Other Voices performance.
Otherkin
Having played the Music Trail last year at Other Voices, Irish rock band Otherkin have been making an impact both here and across the water with their debut single Ay Ay. World domination is definitely on the cards.
