Other Voices - Outside the church

Live Streaming has been a part of the Other Voices experience since 2009 and this year is no different. Who needs a church pew when you can witness every beat, note, chord and chorus with a pint in hand in a selection of venues around the town.

But that's not all, we are organising a three day event like no other. The Music Trail kicks off on Friday afternoon and will feature artists ranging from the up-and-coming to the stratospheric… as well as a couple of surprises.

If you’re feeling a little weary from the mind melting melodies on the Trail, you can always take a moment of zen with our friend Jim in The Banter Salon at Foxy Johns. He’ll be talking film with Gerard Barrett, literature with Eimear McBride and music with David Gray… just three of many chats taking place throughout the weekend.

We’re also going to schedule some special surprise impromptu happenings around town… but we’re keeping those under wraps.

Now that is exciting, and with both the Music Trail and Banter having some tickets to raffle off for the church, who wouldn’t want to come down to Dingle and get their musical rocks off, socks on, knees up etc. etc.
