Ahead of our return to Dingle this December, we're delighted to bring you performances from last year's IMRO Other Room.

Every year the Other Room showcases rising Irish talent from a multitude of genres. Shining a light on new, exciting Irish music, in previous years its provided a platform for acts such as Villagers, Rusangano Family and James Vincent McMorrow early in their careers.

Katie Kim is a unique and ethereal singer-songwriter from Waterford. Known for her ambient, slowcore songwriting, her work is equal parts dark and stirring. Here she performs a stripped back version of 'I Make Sparks', a highlight from her Choice Prize nominated album Salt.

Mayo singer-songwriter Maria Kelly, is hailed for her honest self-expression and beguiling voice. The winner of last year's IMRO Other Room Open Call, here she is performing the enchanting 'Far Below'.

Joshua Burnside - Blood Drive

Joshua Burnside joined us in Dingle to showcase songs from his superb debut album EPHRATA, winner of the Northern Ireland's 2017 album of the year. An intoxicating mix of folk tradition and modern storytelling, he performed 'Blood Drive' for us in the IMRO Other Room.

Katie Laffan is a precocious and charming songwriter from Dublin. Blending funk, pop, and hip hop influences, her infectious track Tastemaker is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
