Legendary music TV programme Other Voices has been recorded in Dingle each year for the past eleven years. Musicians and artists representing a myriad of musical styles, traditions and cultures travel from across the globe to take part in this unique collaboration. Recording intimate acoustic sessions and in-depth interviews in Dingle locations throughout the day, in the evening time artists take to a miniscule soundstage erected in the crumbling 200 year old St. James’ Church in the very heart of Dingle, to perform for a small audience of music fans. The recordings are then edited into TV packages, which are broadcast some months later on RTE Two and on television and digital platforms across the world.

The most recent series of Other Voices was a particularly unique event in the history of the programme, the show travelled beyond Dingle for this first time, creating additional musical gatherings in Derry/Londonderry and London over the course of many months.
