A veteran of Other Voices, Hannigan’s appearances in Dingle over the years have seen her transform from Damien Rice’s timid collaborator to a confident and hugely capable solo artist. The success of her two albums, her debut Sea Sew in 2008 and last year’s Passenger, are testament to this. Now surrounded by her own band of seasoned musicians, Hannigan’s live show is certainly worth catching. She plays Dublin's Vicar Street on March 16th.
