Kate Nash, Muireann Bradley, Westside Cowboy and more announced for Other Voices Derry 2026

First names announced for our adventure to Derry this September!

We’re heading to Derry this September for the next stop in our 25th anniversary celebrations, with Kate Nash, Bleech 9:3, Muireann Bradley and Westside Cowboy among the first artists announced for Other Voices Derry 2026.

Taking place across 25 and 26 September, the weekend will bring live music, filmed performances, conversations and events to venues across the city, with audiences around the world able to tune in online.

At the heart of the weekend will be St Columb’s Hall, one of Derry’s oldest and best-loved venues. We’ll be filming a series of intimate performances there for the Other Voices TV series, hosted by MayKay, with the shows streamed live globally via the Other Voices YouTube channel.

The first names announced

We’re bringing together artists from across Ireland and the UK for the weekend.

Bleech 9:3 will bring their visceral Dublin sound to St Columb’s Hall, following support from The Guardian, NME and BBC Radio 1.

Westside Cowboy, winners of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition, will make the trip from Manchester with their indie sound and Americana influences playing songs from their acclaimed debut LP It Goes On.

Hailing from the North West, at just 19, Muireann Bradley has already built an international following for her remarkable interpretations of classic blues songs.

And Kate Nash will make her long-awaited Other Voices debut in Derry. The BRIT Award-winning singer, songwriter, actor and activist will bring her distinctive mix of indie-pop, humour and storytelling to St Columb’s Hall as we open our 25th anniversary celebrations in the city.

The St Columb’s Hall performances will be free to attend, thanks to PEACEPLUS Change Maker Funding. Golden Tickets will be released in the coming weeks on our social channels on a first-come, first-served basis, so keep an eye out for the announcement.

All performances from St Columb’s Hall will also be streamed worldwide on the Other Voices YouTube channel.

The Music Trail

The music doesn’t stop at St Columb’s Hall. The Music Trail will fill some of Derry’s best-loved venues across the weekend, with dozens of live shows giving audiences the chance to discover new artists alongside some familiar Other Voices favourites.

Bleech 9:3, Westside Cowboy and Kate Nash will each play special Music Trail shows alongside their filmed performances, while Brògeal will bring a special show to the Trail. It’s a chance to see these artists in a more intimate setting, alongside some of the most exciting and diverse talent from across the island of Ireland and beyond.

Soundings

We’re also introducing something new this year.

Soundings is a new ideas and discussion strand bringing artists, writers, makers, thinkers and community leaders together for conversations about art, culture and society.

The first Soundings programme includes Tony Connelly, Séamas O’Reilly, Ailbhe Keogan, Myrid Carten, Aoife Moore, Darran Anderson, Emma Warren, Gareth Stewart, Claire Hall / DJ Venus Dupree and Cóilí Collins / Shampain.

Soundings takes place on Saturday 26 September and is free to attend, with advance registration required. We’ll announce the full programme and schedule, along with registration details, next week.

Tickets

Music Trail weekend wristbands are on sale now via Eventbrite, priced at £60 plus booking fees.

A wristband gives you access to all Music Trail shows and Soundings, and automatically enters you into the draw for tickets to the filmed performances at St Columb’s Hall. The first wave of wristbands sold out in under an hour, so if you’re planning to join us in Derry, we recommend booking early.
