Ireland's Edge – Idir an Dá Linn / Mean Time | 27–28 November | The Skellig Hotel, Dingle, Co Kerry

Ireland’s Edge returns this November as part of the Other Voices festival. Taking place in The Dingle Skellig Hotel, it brings together artists, thinkers, makers, activists and organisers to share ideas, stories and perspectives from the edge.

This year's theme is "Idir an Dá Linn" - the Irish for ‘in the meantime’ - evoking a space between worlds, between what is passing and what is yet to emerge.

We are living in mean times. Times of uncertainty, suspense and upheaval, but also of possibility, imagination and reinvention. This year's Ireland's Edge explores the complexities of our changing world, the freedom and fluidity of the in-between, and the beauty and meaning to be found in the ordinary, extraordinary business of being human.

The first wave of speakers who'll be joining this year's programme are:

Aisling Bea, Actor, Comedian & Writer, in conversation with a Special Guest / Billy Mag Fhloinn, Folklorist, Archaeologist & Lecturer / Caoilfhionn Gallagher KC, Human Rights Lawyer / Carole Cadwalladr, Author & Journalist, The Nerve / Christopher Kissane, Writer, Historian & Host / Gwenno, Musician, Songwriter & Producer / Irvine Welsh, Author / James Reed: All About Business Live, with FoodCloud founder Iseult Ward / Malachy Browne, Director of Visual Investigations, The New York Times / Muireann Kelliher, Co-Founder & Curator, Ireland’s Edge / Pat F.
