Here’s the running order and times for the Banter Salon at Other Voices in London next weekend.

The Banter Salon will take place upstairs at the Zeppelin Shelter (40 Leman Street, London, Aldgate, E1 8EU). Doors will open each day at 2.30pm and the sessions will run from 3pm to 6pm. Admission is free, but capacity is limited so spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please note that times are approximate and may be subject to change on the day.

Saturday April 6

3.00 – Luke Sital-Singh performance

3.15 – Clandestino: Peter Culshaw on his new book about the fascinating life and music of Manu Chao

3.50 – The campaigner: Maeve O’Rourke from the Justice for the Magdalenes campaign on civil liberties and human rights

4.30 – Karl Ove Knausgaard – reading and interview with the acclaimed Norwegian author of A Death in the Family and the soon to be published A Man in Love.

5.15 - The music tech panel with David Adams (SoundCloud), Stephen O’Reilly (Mobile Roadie, Topspin) and Mark Nagurski (CultureTECH)

Sunday April 7

3.15 – Paul Morley on David Bowie, longevity, pop careers, images, personas and the art of the cultural chameleon.

3.50 – Ben Watt on doing things differently in the music industry and the renewed importance of artist development

4.30 – The photography panel with Eva Vermandel, Rich Gilligan and Linda Brownlee

5.15 – Olivia Chaney performance

5.30 – Caomhin O Raghallaigh on his work with The Gloaming, whose debut album is due for release in the coming months, and the task of revitalising, replenishing and refreshing the tradition.
