The Joy Formidable

Today Welsh act The Joy Formidable split their time between there and the closest thing they could find in the US - Utah (“in the middle of nowhere”). Formed in 2007 in Mold, Flintshire, the band consists of Rhiannon "Ritzy" Bryan, Rhydian Dafydd and Matthew James Thomas. The group's most recent album, Into the Blue, was released in 2021.

Currently on the road, The Joy Formidable recently released the third in their current trilogy of singles project. Following on from ‘Cut My Face’ and ‘The Hat’ – their first new releases in over two years – ‘Share My Heat’ is over 15 minutes long, and arrives to coincide with their UK tour.
