Peter Staunton & Niamh Barry

Peter Staunton is a button accordion player who pushes the boundaries of traditional Irish dance music performance using electronics and effects. He performs with Scannal and is the producer of the popular SUPER CÉILÍ dance music show. Niamh Varian-Barry, former lead singer of ‘supergroup’ Solas, is a classically-trained violist and violinist and is a founding member of the Clare Memory Orchestra. After many years performing all over the world, from Tokyo to Carnegie Hall, Niamh and Peter have settled in Dingle, where they regularly perform and record - their most recent release being their CD ‘Get Up The Yard’.
