King Charles

King Charles is an extraordinary man. He doesn?t look like anyone you know, he doesn?t think like anyone you know and he doesn?t make music like anyone you know. The Indie singer-songwriter was born and raised in London?s leafier corners ? Wandsworth, Dulwich, Barnes ? and now lives in North West London. Classically vocally trained and boasting heavyweight abilities with guitar, cello, piano, Charles is a solo force to be reckoned with. He won the International Songwriting Competition by unanimous vote in 2010. Charles previously performed with the group Adventure Playground who toured with Laura Marling and Noah and the Whale, before Charles broke away as a solo artist. The heart of Charles? music is lit up by joyous pop and the edges are coloured in by wild and wonderful ideas. This is all showcased beautifully by his debut single Bam Bam which was released on November 4th 2011. King Charles will release his debut album early 2012.
