Conchúr White

This is Conchúr White Conchúr White kicked off 2020 with the release of his debut EP, ‘Bikini Crops EP’, featuring 4 tracks Bikini Crops, Channing Tatum, Daisies & Nightdrives, mixed by Matt Wiggins (London Grammar, Glass Animals, Horrors). Hailing from Co Armagh, Conchúr previously fronted the band Silences who achieved notable success in Ireland. Upon parting ways, Conchúr felt an outpouring of creativity and ended up writing and recording ten solo demo tracks in his bedroom over the course of just one month. The 4 tracks on the "Bikini Crops EP" all came to life during this period. Indicative of his raconteur nature, Conchúr's lyrical influences include the likes of Father John Misty, Lana Del Rey, Alex Turner, and Charles Bukowski. There’s a dream-like surrealism in White’s musical storytelling which he delivers with understated theatrical manner. Since releasing his first solo material Conchúr has performed with artists including Villagers, David Keenan & Josh Ritter and in 2021 he will be joining both John Grant & Margaret Glapsy on tour. Conchúr will be releasing a new 4 track EP starting in January 2021 followed by a run of headline shows in Ireland.Conchúr White played Other Voices Series 19, rewatch his performance from Episode 3 below: https://www.rte.ie/player/series/other-voices/SI0000001278?epguid=IP0000...Throughout the series we'll be sharing exclusive performances + interviews on our YouTube to shine a light on some of the magic you might have missed the first time around!
