Celebrating what's about to happen or about to disappear

20 Years of Songs for the Head + the Heart
Part festival, part TV show, part fairytale, for 20 years Other Voices has celebrated what’s about to happen or about to disappear and shared that magic with the world.
Other Voices at Home
Since 2001, Other Voices has brought some of the world’s brightest artists to the most westernly tip of Europe to raise their voice and sing.
Glastonbury headliners, Grammy-winners and best-selling artists have all joined us along the Wild Atlantic Way to experience the magic of our intimate, ethereal winter festival, creating a genre-defying time capsule of the musical landscape year-on-year.
Across two decades, our spiritual home the Church of St James has witnessed jaw-dropping performances by Amy Winehouse, The National, For Those I Love, Sigrid, Young Fathers, Little Simz and more, with Other Voices’ ethereal charm drawing back friends like Hozier, elbow and Lisa Hannigan to play for us time and time again.
We care just as much about showcasing emerging talent as we do about big names. Each year we bring the most exciting new artists to perform along our Music Trail in boats, caravans, cafes, record shops and anywhere else we can squeeze them in. Whether it's in Dingle, Cardigan or Ballina our Music Trail has always been about championing what’s about to happen and has become a right of passage for the likes of Fontaines D.C., Saint Sister and many more.
Other Voices - Dingle has become an established fixture in the Irish and international music calendar, a 'must attend' event for performers and audiences alike with thousands making their way to experience all that we have to offer each winter.
Other Voices across the globe
From Austin to Derry, Longitude to New York City via Berlin and Cardiff we’ve brought our Other Voices stage to some of our favourite cities and festivals, bringing pals like Dermot Kennedy and Lisa Hanngian with us and making new friends like Gregory Porter, Martha Wainwright, Willie Nelson and Celeste along the way.
Courage
When the world stood still, we kept moving. In 2020 during the depths of lockdown, we launched our acclaimed ‘Courage’ series, beaming inspiring performances by new voices and familiar faces into homes around the world. Iconic performance by Denise Chaila, The Murder Capital, Lankum and more lifted our spirits and gave us all courage at a time when we needed it the most.
Other Voices at 20
This year we celebrate our 20th anniversary and we have more than a few surprises in store. We want to share our plans with you before anyone else - sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when we make an announcement.

Support Us
From our very first intimate gathering in 2001, to the three-day festival of music, song and storytelling, to our current form as producers of beautifully realised livestreams, Other Voices has remained free for everyone to enjoy. That’s the way we’d like to keep it.
If you are one of the thousands who’ve made the that special pilgrimage to Dingle or one of the millions who enjoyed Courage, Other Voices Dingle and Other Voices Home in 2020, we would love it if you would consider supporting us to help us light up the Church of St James for our 20th Birthday in December 2021.
With your help, we can future proof the inclusive spirit of Other Voices, for many years to come.

Use these cards when you want to display content with an image, such as a blog post or product. They’re built with CSS grid to enable the 3-column layout. When you select the “Cards Grid Container,” you’ll see a red icon on the top right. Click the icon to edit the number of columns, the column gap, and more!
The card images have fit set to cover, so they fill their masking container without stretching. Try making the “Cards Image Mask” a circle using border-radius or adjusting the size ratio using top padding. Don’t forget to set an alt description for each image, which will help with accessibility.
