Planet Parade

Planet Parade have been playing in bands together since childhood. Michael Hopkins (vocals, guitar, drums, keyboards) and Andrew Lloyd (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards). Planet Parade cut their live teeth at the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival, October 2009 in Dublin to rave reviews. Their debut 4 track E.P Ghosts To People was self-released at the end of 2009 and showcases the band's idiosyncratic sound and wide ranging musicality. Play Fair and Cut the Chord, from the EP, received heavy daytime airplay on Irish national radio. Since Planet Parade's first live shows in 2009 they have opened for Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding, Wild Beasts, Bell X1 and Delorentos. They also played the Oxegen festival and Other Voices for RTE. The band released their follow up EP Zulu Sound , with great press reviews.
