30+ new acts to play Dingle Distillery Music Trail - plus secret 'Dingle Unplugged' sets!

November 15, 2023

Here's second wave of stellar acts for Dingle Distillery Music Trail, plus secret sets with Camden Recording Studios and Dingle Distillery revealed!

When the first wave of thrilling acts for #OV2023’s Dingle Distillery Music Trail was announced earlier this month, weekend wristband tickets quickly flew out the door. Don't worry if you didn't manage to snag tickets, you can join the waiting list!

Ticket-holders can now look forward to another list of rising Irish talent and international names announced this week for the West Kerry festival. Stunning live sets from the iconic St James’ Church and IMRO Other Room will be beamed live to the Other Voices’ YouTube each night, with dozens of Ireland’s brightest new voices taking to the stages along the Dingle Distillery Music Trail from 1-3 December.

As well as previously revealed names like 49th & Main, Morgana, Conchúr White, Joshua Burnside, Nealo and more; the likes of Chris Wong, Gemma Cox, Leo Miyagee, Maija Sofia, Rebel Phoenix and Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin have now joined the stacked Music Trial lineup.

Dublin-based musician and former Spies man Neil Dexter is bringing his dynamic and immersive arrangements to Dingle next month alongside Tallaght hip-hop artist and frequent collaborator, Curtisy.

Belfast quartet Problem Patterns will also appear on the Dingle Distillery Music Trail, having released their debut album Blouse Club in October, they have blazed a trail for their fellow DIY feminist queerpunk acts in the scene. Dundalk duo Negro Impacto, fresh from appearing on Other Voices’ Anam: Songs for Hearts & Minds series earlier this year, expect endless funk grooves and neo-soul vibes.

County Clare’s own DeCarteret is also making her Other Voices debut, merging lo-fi beats and her experiences of classical music with fresh contemporary soul. Mike D’Alton, aka Seba Safe, will offer up his emotion-driven form of singer-songwriter folk and dreamy indie tunes, while Search Results will deliver sounds of ‘70s and ‘80s to their own palette of alternative and garage rock.

Over 80 live sets from dozens of Ireland’s magnetic new voices are expected to take place at some of Dingle’s legendary venues – with a couple of surprises thrown in for good measure! Stay tuned for special announcements next week on Banter, Cogar, Ireland’s Edge, IMRO Other Room and more headliners for St James’ Church.

DINGLE UNPLUGGED & CAMDEN RECORDING STUDIOS

As part of this year’s eagerly awaited Music Trail, Dingle Distillery have also announced they will be bringing their intimate ‘Dingle Unplugged’ series to Other Voices alongside Dublin creative hub Camden Recording Studios

As part of ‘Dingle Unplugged’, each night a very special renowned Irish act will take centre stage at The Green Room to play an exclusive pop-up gig. These super secret shows will feature acclaimed and celebrated artists who won’t be found anywhere else on the Music Trail. Keep a close eye on Dingle Distillery’s socials over the weekend to see who might appear next as part of the intimate series!
