Banter

Jim Carroll is back in West Kerry for another edition of Banter at OV. The formula is simple: we take over the back-room of Foxy John’s in downtown Dingle for the weekend, we light the fire and we’re joined by a cast of talkers, makers, activists, do-ers and players for some conversations and music. Stay tuned for the full programme coming soon.

Other Voices founder Philip King said: “We’re thrilled to welcome live audiences back to Dingle, that uplifting engagement between audience and artists is really at the heart of the live experience. We have some of the most brilliant musicians in the world making the pilgrimage to West Kerry and we have a gathering up of the new voices and artists who have written the emotional soundtrack to the Ireland of 2021. The artists and the crews that make them audible and visible are the heart of the matter and it’s a delight to celebrate their creativity and commitment. It’s going to be great.”

We have lots of surprises planned for you with new voices and old friends joining us to celebrate two decades of the magic of Other Voices. There will be songs for the head and the heart in the Church of St James and across the Dingle Peninsula. The Ireland’s Edge crew will also be back with more scintillating ideas, stories, performances and conversations from the Edge.

If you can’t be with us in person at this year’s festival - good news! We will once again be collapsing distance and beaming all headline performances from the Church of St James around the globe via YouTube and socials.

We’re so looking forward to seeing you all back in West Kerry this November. Thank you for your patience and support so far. There’s lots of exciting news coming your way very soon, stay tuned pals.

Míle buíochas,

Other Voices
