Tom Adams music centres on immersive minimalism and spellbinding falsetto that conveys so much emotion with just a few elements.
The Cambridge born singer-songwriter relocated to Berlin just a few years ago, quickly becoming mentored by Nils Frahm's manager and making a name for himself locally as a consumate performer. In 2014 he composed and produced the soundtrack for the Universal Pictures feature film “The Knife That Killed Me” and was celebrated for his remixes of Max Richter’s “Berlin by Overnight“, which was released by Deutsche Grammophon. Masterfully balancing tactile acoustic and electronic instruments, his live performance is expansive as it is elegantly particular – evoking cinematic odes to nature’s majesty and the contrasting depths of the human condition. Having joined us at Other Voices Berlin in July, Tom makes his Irish debut at Electric Picnic.
