Described as “jubilant, infectious and stunning” by The Times, Oxford’s Stornoway recently soared straight into the UK Top 20 with their third album ‘Bonxie’. Layered with images of the wild outdoors, tumultuous oceans and primal migratory instincts, the record taps into lead singer Brian Briggs’ background as a doctor (PhD) of ornithology and is a chorus of birdsong from start to finish. Pursuant to the theme dear to their hearts, the band worked closely with the RSPB for this album as Brian is a Life Fellow of the charity and they will play a series of very special concerts at nature reserves around the UK before coming to Other Voices at Electric Picnic.
