OTHER VOICES BERLIN - SOLD OUT
Other Voices is delighted to travel to Berlin to curate, produce and capture an evening of remarkable music. On the 4th of July, Other Voices, Ireland’s longest running music television programme, will travel from the west coast of Ireland to the heart of the German capital, to celebrate the longstanding cultural and musical ties between the two nations. The line-up for Other Voices Berlin spans genres and will be unified by excellence, talent and creativity. The event will take place across three venues in Kreuzberg; Fluxbau, Riverside Studios and Bebop Dance School.
We are thrilled to announce that ARTE Concert will be live streaming Dermot Kennedy's performance from Other Voices Berlin on Thursday 4th of July at 22:30 (GMT +2).
Dermot Kennedy has rapidly become one of Ireland's most sought after musicians. With sold out shows at home and abroad (including Berlin’s Columbiahalle), millions of plays on music streaming platforms and a performance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Dermot Kennedy has gone from busking on the streets of Dublin to becoming a festival headliner with an international following.
On Thursday 5th of July ARTE Concert will show GURR's performance from Other Voices Berlin.

Other Voices is delighted to announce that an Ireland’s Edge conference will take place on the afternoon of 4th July in Fluxbau, Berlin.
Joining us in Berlin:
The programming of this short conference of Ireland's Edge in Berlin will be broadly reflective of this and of the nature of Irish-German relationships in the context of Brexit and its anticipated impact. Ireland’s Edge: A View from Berlin will contribute to discussion around the need to nurture and develop that relationship in all its aspects cultural, political, social and economic. “As Germans we understand how wars and borders can threaten peace. A belief we share with you Irish” - Heiko Maas Dublin - 8th January 2019
Other Voices Berlin and Ireland’s Edge are kindly supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Department of Culture, Heritage and Gaeltacht, The Comer Group, Greenman Investments & HiUp.
