English singer/songwriter Richard Hawley will play four dates in Ireland in December. Mandela Hall in Belfast will be first off on the 2nd, with a performance in Dublin’s Vicar Street on the following night. Hawley will then move on to The Black Box in Galway and The Savoy in Cork on the 5th and 6th respectively. Hawley is set to perform at Electric Picnic in Stradbally next month, his first Irish performance since the recent release of his latest album, Standing at Sky’s Edge.

Richard Hawley has released his seventh solo album, entitled ‘Standing At The Sky’s Edge’. The Sheffield artist presents quite a different sound in his new release to that of his previous work, notably 2009’s Truelove’s Gutter. Early reviews suggest this is definitely an album worth hearing.
