Frank Turner has released his fifth album, Tape Deck Heart.  The album was recorded in California and produced by Rich Costly, who has worked with the likes of Muse and Interpol. Turner is soon to begin touring extensively across Europe and North America for the summer.

Frank Turner has added a new Irish date, he will now play The Academy in Dublin on May 11th. He is already scheduled to play in Belfast the following night. His new album is to be released in April so these gigs will offer Irish fans a chance to hear his new tracks live.

Frank Turner will be playing the Limelight in Belfast on May 12th, his first Irish gig of the year. His has a busy few months before then, with gigs slated for America, China, Australia and New Zealand before a number of UK dates in April. The UK shows coincide with the release of a new album on April 22nd, entitled Tape Deck Heart.

Frank Turner will be playing in Vicar Street on January 12th and 13th in support of Dropkick Murphys. These gigs come in advance of Turner’s fifth album release, which he recorded in California and will be releasing in March.

Frank Turner has released a new album entitled Last Minutes and Lost Evenings. This release is an anthology of sorts combining tracks from his four studios albums, and is aimed squarely at cracking the American market. It has been quite a year for Turner, highlighted by his sold out show at the Wembley Arena, a DVD of which comes as part of this album, and performing at the Olympic opening ceremony. He is currently touring the UK and is set to come over to Ireland for four shows in December.
