Glen Hansard will play in Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens on July 21st. He will be supported on the night by Sam Amidon and Lisa O’Neill. Set to play across North America and some dates in Europe before then, Hansard has a busy few months ahead.

Little Bear are to play The Black Box in Belfast on June 22nd, and will be supported by Biggle Fly’s Again. The Derry natives have two Other Voices appearances under their belt, replacing Two Door Cinema Club in Derry when they had to cancel due to illness, and also going to on play in London.

Ben Howard will play Dublin’s Phoenix Park on July 14th, supporting Mumford and Sons. Edward Sharpe and The Vaccines will also be playing. Howard will play across the UK and at a number of European Festivals, including a slot at Glastonbury, before this Irish performance.

The National today release their 6th album, entitled Trouble Will Find Me. A follow up to 2010’s critical success High Violet, frontman Matt Berninger has described Trouble Will Find Me as more “immediate and visceral” than their previous work. The guys play in Cork in June as part of the Live at the Marquee series, and again in Dublin’s 02 in November.

Day two of the Tennats Vital Festival on August 13th will see three Other Voices’ acts perform. Snow Patrol will headline, with Kodaline and Foy Vance also playing. Kings of Leon are the headline act on the first day. The event takes place at the Boucher playing fields.

Jesca Hoop will play in Belfast’s Black Box on June 22nd, as part of the Open House Festival 2013. Originally from Northern California, but living in Manchester, Hoop released her third album, The House That Jack Built, to critical acclaim last year.

Sinead O’Connor, who appeared at Other Voices season 6,  will play the National Concert Hall in Dublin on July 6th. She will be playing widely across Europe between now and then, including a slot at Glastonbury, where she will perform in the acoustic tent.

Imelda May will play two Irish gigs in July. The first of these will be in Cork on July 9th as part of the Live at the Marquee series, followed by a performance in the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin two days later on the 11th.

Bell X1 will have three summer dates in Ireland, the first of which is at The National Concert Hall in Dublin on June 29th. This will be followed by an appearance at the Live at the Marquee series in Cork on July 4th. Their third show will be in Dublin again, in the Iveagh Gardens on July 13th.
