ST. JAMES' CHURCH
The Music Trail in association with Heineken
Across the weekend in Dingle, thousands of music fans took to the annual Music Trail, in association with Heineken, where more than seventy artists from diverse musical backgrounds performed free concerts in venues throughout the town and beyond, before and after the church shows.
eir Other Voices 2016 :: Chapter 1
IMRO OTHER ROOM
The IMRO Other Room is all about shining a light on fresh, exciting music and in previous years it has offered acts such as James Vincent McMorrow, Villagers and Rusangano Family a platform at Other Voices to showcase their music in the early days of their careers.
The IMRO Other Room is now filmed in front of a live audience in An Chonair pub on the Spa Road, Dingle. If you would like to attend Other Room gigs please get there early as entry is allocated on a first come first served basis.
An afternoon of intelligent chat with cultural creatives, Jim hosts the event in Foxy John's pub, recording the interviews for his ever-popular Bantercast. As part of this year's Banter, he was joined by luminaries of science, fashion, food and the arts, going deep with the people who are shaping and reflecting modern Ireland.

Waxing Lyrical is an exhibition of artwork celebrating vinyl. In an age of downloading and streaming we look back with nostalgia to the era of records, independent record shops and all of its connotations. This exhibition examines the collectors and hoarders, hipsters and upcyclers, innovation and interventions. We look at its siblings: graphics, hip-hop culture, street-art, Vjs, Djs and rap.
The Waxing Lyrical exhibition will be on display in the Other Voices Hub (attached to Adam's Bar), located on 12 Main Street in the centre of Dingle for the duration of the Other Voices festival. The official opening of the exhibition takes place on Friday 2nd December at 4pm.
